I am proud to say that I am Joe's twin sister. My brother passed away and I can't stop thinking about him. I started this blog so I can share my thoughts and ideas and hopefully I can help others. Also this site will give a chance for Joe's friends to share their thoughts and memories about my brother. Julie

I have known Julie for several years. I cherish her as a good friend and appreciate her adventuresome spirit. Breaking ankles at New Year's, climbing 14,000ft mountains on a whim, letting me drive her car over icey mountain passes, hiking in the dark and camping in bear infested areas are just a few of my favorite Julie memories. I admire Julie for her positive spirit and embrace her empowerment for an issue spurred by a tragic event. Julie, I wish I could have met Joe. I can only imagine the impact he had on others as you have had on me. I love you and wish you strength.
