I am now planning a benefit to promote obesity awareness. The benefit will be at the Grenada in Lawrence, KS on March 24 from 6-10pm. We will have booths set up and several bands including Joe's Jam Band and Cool Jade from Ottawa, KS. Some of the booths will include Arbonne, the Leo Center, Hy-Vee's Natural foods (hopefully after I ask them) and other local heathy options around Lawrence. I am planning on having raffel giveaways and will have a $5 or more cover charge that will go towards Joe's Memorial Fund. More details comming soon!

Today at work, we started a contest of "the biggest loser". The person who loses the most percentage of weight wins the pot. We have till Nov 30. I wish that I could say that it was my idea, but would like to make a challenge to anyone to do the same thing at their workplace. Julie

I am proud to say that I am Joe's twin sister. My brother passed away and I can't stop thinking about him. I started this blog so I can share my thoughts and ideas and hopefully I can help others. Also this site will give a chance for Joe's friends to share their thoughts and memories about my brother. Julie
